Elections

The Clerk & Recorder's Office administers elections, voter registration, mails ballots, and staffs voter service polling centers. The Clerk & Recorder's Office is conducted under Title 1 of Colorado Revised Statute, regulated by the Colorado Secretary of State's Office.

    • Update June 24, 2024: The write-in candidate for the 2024 Summit County Republican Primary, County Commissioner District 2, has withdrawn their candidacy for office. Under Colorado law, any votes cast for the candidate are invalid and will not be counted.
  • General Election
    • November 5, 2024
Get Registered or Update Your Voter Record
Document
Register to vote or update your record in any of the following ways:

  • Online (must have a Colorado Drivers License or ID): GoVoteColorado.gov
  • In Person: A paper form (walk into Clerk & Recorder's office), public assistance offices, military recruitment offices, 
  • If you are a UOCAVA (Military or Overseas Voter),  email staff for proper forms to get registered.
  • Voter Service Polling Center during an active election cycle, through Election Day.
  • Voter Registration Drive
