Summit County Teen Center Offers Summer Hours for Teens

The Drop

Summit County Teen Center, also known as The Drop will be open three days a week throughout the summer

SUMMIT COUNTY -- Beginning Tuesday, June 14 the Summit County Teen Center, also known as The Drop will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The Drop is a drop-in center for all rising sixth through twelfth graders only. It is free to all youth. The Teen Center will be partnering with other community originations to provide activities and events. Youth are free to come and go. They can come for as little as five minutes or stay the entire day.

Drop-off and pick up of all teens will always be at the Teen Center. There will be days that teens will participate in programming off site and Teen Center Staff will communicate that to youth and families. 

The Teen Center is designed to be a safe space for teens to come and interact with peers and Youth Development professionals while engaging in activities and designing how they want the day to look. The Teen Center is a youth-led space.

All youth must have a signed waiver on file before attending the Teen Center. Youth must sign up using the SignUpGenius to attend. The Teen Center requires a minimum of four youth signed up for the Teen Center to open for the day.
