SUMMIT COUNTY – The Summit County community is invited to participate in a virtual workshop to chart the future of open space and trails in Summit County. Join the project team on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for an interactive virtual workshop that will be held via Zoom.

Open Space and Trails survey input from Fall 2021 highlighted the importance of Summit County’s role in conserving open space resources, connecting trail-based amenities, and collaborating with partners to provide extraordinary outdoor recreation experiences. This virtual meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the feedback and direction provided as well as an opportunity to give input on future objectives through small breakout groups. Feedback will be used to inform the draft of the new Summit County Open Space and Trails Master Plan, which will be provided to the public later this Spring.

To register in advance for this meeting, go to:  https://summitcountyco-gov.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMvc-2srTktHtzxlu1laiIrngRTZXq_d0rG

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Spanish interpretation will be available at the meeting and all community members are strongly encouraged to attend. For those unable to attend due to scheduling and other commitments, meeting materials and opportunities for online feedback will be available after the meeting.
