Temporary COVID-19 Testing Site Location to Open in Dillon Tomorrow

Testing site operated by Affinity will be available Wednesdays from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. in the Dillon Marina parking lot

SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Public Health announced the temporary addition of a COVID testing location at the Dillon Marina starting on Jan. 5, in order to meet increased demand for services from the community. The added testing site has been made possible through support from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, in response to the additional need for testing as positivity and incident rates have skyrocketed in Summit County. The new testing site in Dillon will operate until there is a decrease in positivity and incidence rates.

Dillon Marina: Affinity Community Testing Site OPENING JANUARY 5TH.

This site is temporary until incidence and positivity rates decline. 

  • When: Wednesdays: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 
  • Where:  150 Marina Dr., Dillon CO 80435
  • Who:  Testing for both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals
  • How: No appointment is necessary, however individuals will need to complete a registration form at the testing site or online ahead of time. Online registration here. See the FAQ on Testing
  • Insurance/payment: Testing is provided completely free of charge. Insurance is not needed.

“We are grateful for the support of our community while we work to expand our testing sites,” said Director of Summit County Public Health, Amy Wineland. “Anyone with symptoms should get tested as soon as possible and stay home.”  

“Summit County is so thankful for support from CDPHE, Mako Medical, and now Affinity which enables us to increase our availability of testing to meet demand in our community throughout the peak of our cases, which plays a pivotal role in our ability to control the virus. We also would like to thank the towns of Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Frisco, and Dillon for their partnership in providing the testing site space,” added Wineland.

All testing sites are subject to closure due to adverse weather conditions. Testing is free of cost and widely available to individuals in Summit County and remains a critical tool in tracking and slowing the spread of the virus.
