Summit County Amends Local Public Health Order

Summit County Public Health

The Public Health Order has been updated to align with the new state order and includes mask requirements for children

 SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Public Health amended the local Public Health Order on Wednesday July 7 to align with the most recent CDPHE Public Health Order.  Locally masks continue to be required for children, ages 2-11 years old in indoor childcare settings including, camps, and recreational sports, as they are ineligible for vaccination.

The public health order went into effect on July 7, 2021, and will remain in effect through July 31, 2021 unless extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing.

El condado de Summit modifica la orden de salud pública local 

La orden de salud pública se ha actualizado para alinearse con la nueva orden estatal e incluye los requisitos de cubrebocas para niños

 CONDADO DE SUMMIT - Salud pública del condado de Summit modificó la orden de salud pública local el miércoles 7 de julio para alinearse con la Orden de Salud Pública de CDPHE más reciente. A nivel local, se siguen requiriendo cubrebocas para niños de 2 a 11 años en entornos de cuidado infantil en interiores, incluidos campamentos y deportes recreativos, ya que no son elegibles para la vacunación.

La orden de salud pública entró en vigor el 7 de julio de 2021 y permanecerá en vigor hasta el 31 de julio de 2021 a menos que se extienda, revoque, sustituya o se modifique por escrito.
