SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATES SKIER COLLISION AT KEYSTONE RESORT
SUMMIT COUNTY, CO – On March 7, 2020, at approximately 1:55 p.m. the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a collision involving two snowboarders. The collision occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. on the upper portion of Haywood Ski Run at Keystone Ski Resort.
The collision is under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone witnessing the collision or who knows the identity of the snowboarder to contact our office. We are also requesting the snowboarder involved in the collision to contact our office and provide a statement. The snowboarder is described as a white male, approximately 5’6” tall with a thin build, in his 20’s or 30’s wearing a black helmet or hat with shoulder length dark brown wavy hair. The snowboarder was wearing a leafy brown camouflage jersey or shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath, camouflage scarf or bandana and black pants.
