WHAT

The Summit County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s Office will present information about an ongoing investigation into the identity of human skeletal remains discovered in July 2016 in the Tenmile Range of the White River National Forest, in the backcountry between Copper Mountain Resort and Breckenridge Ski Resort.


Investigators are seeking information that could assist in determining the identity of the decedent, whose remains are believed to have been in the area since 2012. The Coroner’s Office will present a three-dimensional artist’s reconstruction of what the decedent may have looked like just prior to his death, in addition to photographs of numerous items discovered with the remains.
