SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Libraries announced the launch of their 2024 Travel Series – Escape Around the World, taking place at all three locations through March 28th.

A winter tradition for over 15 years, the Travel Series features presentations by Summit County residents sharing exciting stories, beautiful photos, advice, and travel inspiration. This year’s presentations introduce viewers to skiing Morocco, pedaling Tasmania, hiking Patagonia, boating the British Virgin Isles, and traveling South Africa. Events take place from 6-7 p.m. every other Thursday and are open to all ages. No registration is required.

“The Annual Travel series is a wonderful Summit County tradition” said Summit County Library Assistant Director Sarah Hulsey. “The presentations are a respite during our long, cold winter days and inspire locals to plan for their next adventure,” she said.

Upcoming presentations at the 2024 Travel Series:

  • February 15, South Branch in Breckenridge: Knot Shore You've Ever Seen the British Virgin Islands (BVI's) Like This
  • February 29, Main Library in Frisco: Bikes, Devils, and Wineries - A Tasmanian Adventure
