Swan River Restoration Project - Construction Update (July 15, 2016)

Posted on July 15, 2016 at 9:33 AM by Jason Lederer

The Colorado Department of Transportation's construction contractor for the State Highway 9 Iron Springs alignment project, SEMA, anticipates commencing initial hauling of milled dredge rock materials from the Swan River Restoration project site starting early next week. Trucks will be hauling material from the northeast end of the project site. Please continue to exercise extra caution where construction related-traffic is using Rock Island Road to access the rock milling platform and stock pile areas. Rock Island Road remains open during construction; however please observe all traffic controls in place during operations, including stop signs placed at the intersection of Rock Island Road and the temporary construction access roads.
