Bus Operators Wanted!

Summit Stage is seeking friendly and safety-minded bus drivers to join our team!
 
Applications for both Full-Time Year-Round and Seasonal bus operators positions are accepted on an on-going basis year-round. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement OR be able to obtain one through our driver training program within two weeks of starting. Bus Operator pay starts at $29.25 per hour with a $5000.00 bonus package plus an excellent Summit County Government benefits package.

*Drug and Alcohol Testing

Successful applicants are required to meet US DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements and pass a pre-employment drug screen, have a clear motor vehicle record (MVR), obtain a drug and alcohol release from previous employers (if applicable), and complete a background and reference check.

Incumbents are subjected to US DOT random drug and alcohol testing requirements. These positions are considered safety sensitive (per DOT regulations), and operate transit motor coaches in accordance with federal regulations on public rights-of-way as a regular function of daily job duties. The illicit use of any scheduled drug (including marijuana) by a commercial driver's license holder is prohibited by federal law.
