Face Coverings and Physical Distancing
All passengers 2 and older are required to wear a face covering to help prevent the spread of the virus. The number of riders per bus is limited and some seats will be closed for use, in order to ensure appropriate physical distancing. Passengers must use only the rear bus doors for loading and unloading.
We have openings for transit bus operators. All positions offer excellent Summit County Government health and retirement benefits. Explore job opportunities for additional information, or call 970.668.4170.
Buses are equipped with bike racks from May 1 through October 31 only. Bike racks can accommodate up to 3 bikes max, on a first-come first-served basis. Class 1 E-bikes are allowed on our bike racks. Class 2 and Class 3 E-bikes are NOT allowed, as these bikes are too heavy for the racks. Learn how to use Summit Stage bike racks. Summit Stage buses do not have bike racks over the winter.
