All vehicles must be unloaded and out the gate by posted closure times, or double charges will apply. Compost purchases must be completed 30 minutes prior to posted closure times.

• All other services (e.g., recycling, compost): Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Wind & Lightning Closures

For your safety, and to contain blowing litter, SCRAP closes when wind gusts meet or exceed 40 miles per hour. The facility will remain closed for a minimum of 30 minutes. Lightning closures are usually for a shorter amount of time, depending on severity. Please call 970-668-4290 x 0 to check conditions on high-wind days or when lightning storms are in the area.
