If you have submitted building plans with the County and require our sign-off, please send a copy of your building plans to SnakeRiver@SummitCountyCO.gov for review. Sewer plant personnel will review your building plans to provide a tap unit calculation quote. Tap fees must be paid and signed documents must be returned prior to receiving sewer sign-off on the building permit review card.
Underground sewer construction will be allowed only between May 1st and October 31st. Contractor must notify Utility plant staff when construction work is to begin. Please submit a ticket with Colorado 811 for a locate request. Inspection of the construction connection should be scheduled when the property is ready to connect, but before any portion of the work is covered. To schedule a connection inspection, please contact the plant at least 24 hours in advance. Inspections may be scheduled Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Please call the plant at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a property walk-through for the final sign-off on your project (certificate of occupancy sign-off). Certificate of occupancy walk-throughs may be scheduled Monday - Thursday between 8:00am - 4:00pm.
