Positive Youth Development

Summit County Youth and Family Services offers Positive Youth Development trainings for adults and youth in the community.  This 3 hour training provides youth serving organizations and individuals with an understanding of adolescent development and strategies to connect to youth by building skills, opportunities, and authentic relationships.  Trainings are offered community wide in person and virtual. Trainings are also available upon requests for groups of 15-30 participants.  All PYD  trainings are free to access.

Summit County's PYD trainings are part of a state-wide initiative to improve on community connectedness supported by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
