The Summit County Teen Center: The Drop!

The purpose of the Teen Center is to provide a safe, substance-free place with trusted adults for local youth in grades 6 to 12 to socialize and participate in activities. The Teen Center provides snacks, games and arts & crafts at no cost.

The Teen Center is located on the lower level of the County Commons (near the DMV). 

The Teen Center Hours

The Teen Center is open during the school year Monday-Thursday. Local youth may spend time at the Teen Center on a drop-in basis.

Monday 3:30-5:30 pm

Tuesday 3:30-5:30 pm

Wednesday 2:30-5:30 pm

Thursday 3:30-5:30 pm

The Teen Center is closed on most major holidays and school holidays. For the safety of youth and staff, the center is also closed any time the local school district cancels school and/or after-school activities because of inclement weather.


How to Register 

In order to spend time at the Teen Center, all participating youth must complete a registration form, signed by a parent or guardian. You may complete and submit the form ahead of time, or complete the form when you arrive at the Teen Center.
