Reduced Spring Hours

Heavy snows have severely stressed our local elk herd. At the request of our partners at Colorado Parks and Wildlife, we are reducing the spring operating hours of the Summit County Shooting Range.

  • Hours of operation: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., daily.
  • The modified hours of operation will tentatively remain in effect through April 15, depending on conditions.

For updated information, visit the Summit Range Association.

2015 Improvement Project

The range has re-opened to the public, now that crews have finished installing several major improvements. Watch the video to learn more about the project and all the partners who generously contributed time, funding and resources to make it a reality.
